项目管理原则 is an introductory course covering key predictive project management principles for students to begin building a foundation in project management. The class sessions and outside assignments generate 21 hours of education requirements. Students seeking PMP certification will also need to take the 敏捷项目管理 course to earn an additional 21 education hours and meet the PMI’s 35-hour education requirement to sit for the PMP exam.

Course Structure 这门课程互动性很强, 采用“边做边学”的方法, and creates a high energy positive learning environment addressing cognitive and behavioral skills. The class consists of short lecture presentations followed by discussion or exercises performed as a class or small groups with report and discussion. 作为个人，学生在课间完成练习, 哪些是在课堂上分享和/或讨论的. The purpose of the exercises is to apply the principles from the lectures to learn by doing. Every exercise includes a specially formatted worksheet (usually a single page) to organize results for reporting, consolidating, and comparing.

Course Materials
项目管理原则 aligns with the 6th and 7th editions of the PMBOK® Guide. The course includes the Predictive Projects eWorkbook 6th edition (450 + pages) consisting of topics, slides, and exercises covering the full spectrum of predictive project management from which selective topics are covered. Upon completion of the course students receive the instructor guide (150 + pages) which allows students to continue a self-study of topics not covered in the introductory course timeframe as prep for PMP exam.

Students who are looking to sit for the PMP Exam will earn the 35 Project Management Education hours required by the Project Management Institute upon completion of both courses.

This live online course provides a live classroom environment in a virtual setting. Students meet synchronously with both course instructors and other students during class meetings. This best represents the type of real team environment encountered in today’s digital workplace while utilizing the 100% virtual model required in the current environment.
